Meet our All-staRS

Leo, also referred to as LEONIDAS stormed onto the Bob Acton scene September, 2017 in our Learn to Play program.

Leo quickly became a favourite of his peers and instructors around Ted Reeve arena for his glowing smile and unmatched work ethic. Leo has since graduated from the Learn to Play, into our After School Hockey program and is currently playing for Ted Reeve Tornados Minor Novice select teams.

Leo was most recently was awarded MVP at Week 4's fnal camp showdown for his outstanding performance.

Leo's favorite food: Pizza, Chicago-style of course, meaning a bit of extra sauce with some real crust

Favorite player: Patrick Kane

Favorite thing to do besides play hockey: Hitting baseballs

Congratulations to Erinne Castillo on being named our first ever Bob Acton Sports ATHLETE OF THE MONTH!

Born in Oakville, Erinne and her family moved to Phillipines when she was just 6 months old before returning to Canada at the age of seven.

Erinne joined BAS last September and quickly became a favourite of her coaches because of her determination and work ethic. Erinne’s athletic achievements are nothing short of amazing.

• She had never skated before joining our hockey school and just a year later she is now playing for the Scarborough Sharks.

• She had never picked up a lacrosse stick before attending our After School Lacrosse sessions but she quickly made the U11 Beaches rep team, travelling to the United States for two tournaments.

Outside of hockey and lacrosse, Erinne is being recruited to to participate in rep level soccer, swimming and cross country.
