“We don’t want to look at this as a hockey program or lacrosse program … we simply want to be a place in the area where parents trust us and help develop some really good life skills in our students.”
— Bob Acton, Our Founder
MAKE STRIDES ON AND OFF THE ICE
When Bob Acton started teaching young people in his community about the benefits of athletics through his various hockey and lacrosse training programs, he made sure to stress the fundamentals that help make a good athlete AND an even better person.
With Bob’s passing, his son Reid has embraced his father’s philosophy and continued to work with young people in communities around the east end of Toronto.
Bob Acton Sports also believes that it is never to young for children to start enjoying sports. To that end, we are proud to announce our Learn to Skate/Play program for children as young as 4 years old. This fun and engaging program is aimed at building a skater’s confidence on and off the ice.
Once a skater gains that confidence, they will transition into our Learn to Play program and eventually into one of the many hockey programs offered by Bob Acton Sports. We hope to see you at the rink!
